Gulf Savannah NRM
Gulf Savannah NRM (previously Northern Gulf Resource Management Group) is one of 56 Regional NRM bodies in Australia and is a key partner with Cape York NRM. Gulf Savannah NRM is responsible to a region of the country from at the Great Dividing Range , westward through the great catchments of the Mitchell and Gilbert rivers that flow into the lower reaches of the Gulf of Carpentaria.
A current MOU strongly links the organisations in the common aim of working together to achieve greater outcomes for the combined Gulf and Cape Regions.
