Francis Malcolm joined Cape York NRM in August 2021 as Biodiversity Officer. 

He has worked for the past seven years as a Ranger with the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, and the Kimberley Land Council in Western Australia. 

Francis’s family is Kuku Thaypan and Olkola, and brings a wealth of knowledge about Cape York to his new role.

He’s based in our Cairns office where he’ll be working on the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and Biodiversity Bright Spot projects.
