Lachlan is a proud Lama Lama and Binthi Warra man born and raised in Gungardie (Cooktown). He started his Natural Resource Management journey as a Lama Lama Land & Sea Ranger in 2009 and now has over 10 years of environment and conservation experience encompassing areas of cultural heritage, First Nations engagement, fire & pest treatment, visitor and estate management.

He maintains deep-rooted cultural ties to his country and Indigenous communities in Cape York, QLD, and brings a wealth of lived First Nations cultural knowledge and protocols.
