This project report was published in 1995 as part of the CYPLUS reporting. It's pirpose was to make information of the fauna of the Cape York Peninsula readily available to those who required it or may require it in the future. The primary users were invisioned to be both the Queensland and Commonwealth environmental decision makers along with land use managers however this information is of significant value to all Cape York Peninsula stake holders. This informationw as made easly available in digital form by the CYPLUS task force through Relation Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
