Cape York NRM is seeking a dedicated and passionate Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator (SAF). The SAF will be a designated central contact point for farmers, landholders, industry, and community groups aimed at supporting climate-smart, sustainable agriculture practices across Cape York Peninsula. The SAF is responsible for the provision of extension services to the agricultural sector to improve knowledge and uptake of climate-smart, sustainable agriculture practices including best practice natural resource management, practices that support emissions reduction and build climate resilience on-farm and to facilitate the understanding of carbon and biodiversity markets.
