The only event on the western side of the Cape York Peninsula! The Back Beach of Mapoon is an exposed 12km stretch of beach north of the mining town Weipa where we work together with the Mapoon Land & Sea Rangers.

The Tangaroa Blue beach clean-up at Cape Kimberley (located on the northern side of the Daintree River) will take place on 30 July 2017.

From 9 to 17 August 2017, volunteers are invited to join the Tangaroa Blue team at Chilli Beach.

This beautiful 7-km stretch of white tropical beach fringed with coconut palms and impressive sand dunes is, unfortunately, also another hotspot for marine debris.
