My Cape York Life – Series Two

What:

Cape York NRM will release a second series of our podcast, My Cape York Life, on Friday 16 March 2018. My Cape York Life features unique stories from the people who live, breathe and work Cape York.

My Cape York Life is produced by Cape York NRM with support from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.

Who:

This series features the following Cape York land managers, Traditional Owners and carers of Country:

Episode one: Tom Shephard, Artemis Station, third generation Cape York grazier
Episode two: Sue Shephard, Artemis Station, mother, teacher and golden shouldered parrot conservationist
Episode three: Billy Harrigan, Traditional Owner and Wujal Wujal Shire Cultural Officer

Episode four: Waratah Nicholls, artist, conservationist and permaculturalist

Episode five: Marie Shipton, Traditional Owner and Wujal Wujal Shire Cultural Officer Episode six – Alan Wilson, Cook Shire Councillor, recycling advocate, former police officer and cattle station manager
Episode seven: Vince Harrigan, Traditional Owner, Indigenous ranger and talented musician from Black Image Band

Episode eight: Jessie Price-Decle, passionate natural resource management professional, young leader and advocate for Cape York.

When:

Episode one: Tom Shephard will be released Friday, 16 March. Each episode will be released weekly from then on.
