Mary Valley Fire Workshop

Kuku Thaypan people and Cape York NRM are holding the Cape York Indigenous Fire Workshop 08–12 July 2019 at Mary Valley station. 

The workshop is a celebration of cultural fire knowledge and practice, a place to learn and share knowledge of fire management. This event will entail two days of fire workshops and a one-day fire network meeting. 

Key speakers are Kuku Thaypan people, Victor Steffensen, Gerry Turpin, and Peta-Marie Standley.
